Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use – Jòia Time

1. Preamble

These Terms and Conditions of Sale (“Terms of Sale”) and Terms of Use (“Terms of Use”) govern the use of services provided by Jòia Time (“we,” “our,” or “us”), a platform that organizes curated private gatherings designed to create unique small-group experiences. By using our services, you agree, without reservation, to these Terms of Sale and Terms of Use.

2. Description of Services

Jòia Time offers:

• A matching platform based on shared affinities

• The organization of in-person events

• A questionnaire designed to identify your interests and preferences

• Tailored activity proposals for each curated group

3. Registration and User Accounts

3.1. To use our services, you must create an account and provide accurate and complete information.
3.2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details. Any fraudulent use of your account is your responsibility.
3.3. Our services are reserved for adults (18 years of age or older).

4. Booking and Payment Process

4.1. Once you complete the questionnaire, you will receive event proposals based on your affinities.
4.2. A booking is confirmed only after full payment of the stated price.
4.3. Payments are secure and processed by a certified third-party provider.
4.4. Prices are shown in euros, including all applicable taxes (TTC).

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1. Free cancellation up to 7 days before the event. To cancel, please contact us at hello@joiatime.com.
5.2. Between 7 days and 72 hours before the event: you may request a free reschedule. Your Jòia can be postponed for up to 2 months at no extra cost.
5.3. Less than 72 hours before the event: no refunds will be issued.

6. User Obligations

6.1. You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information in your profile and questionnaire.
6.2. You agree to behave respectfully toward other participants and to follow the rules set for each event.
6.3. Any inappropriate or disrespectful behavior may result in exclusion from the event and suspension or deletion of your account.

7. Liability

7.1. We make every effort to ensure the quality and safety of the events we organize. However, we do not guarantee perfect compatibility between participants.
7.2. Our liability is limited to the organization of the events and does not cover the actions or behavior of participants.
7.3. We disclaim liability for any indirect damages resulting from the use of our services.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1. All content on our platform (texts, images, logos, trademarks, etc.) is protected under intellectual property laws.
8.2. Any reproduction, distribution, or unauthorized use of such content is strictly prohibited without our prior consent.

9. Protection of Personal Data

9.1. We collect and process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.
9.2. You have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data, which you can exercise by contacting us.

10. Changes to These Terms

10.1. We reserve the right to amend these Terms of Sale and Terms of Use at any time to reflect changes in our services or applicable regulations.
10.2. In the event of significant changes, you will be informed by email.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

11.1. These Terms are governed by French law.
11.2. Any dispute concerning their interpretation or performance shall be submitted to the competent courts of Paris, France.
